My heart is heavy is and my eyes swollen thinking of the brave men and women
who laid their lives down and for those who served or continue to serve our
nation in the quest for peace and freedom. It is in large part because of
them that I can today say “I am proud to be American and have nothing to

My opinion:
Take the $36,000,000 tax payer dollars earmarked to be spent on these two events and divide up the money between the surviving family members of our men and women who have lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
